LO4: Edited graphics

Front Cover Graphics:

This is the original image.

I then cropped it so it was in a portrait style, instead of the original landscape style, I used the ratio function so that the cropping wasn't uneven.

I then used the spot-healing tool to remove any spots to make the model look more like a model than the person I did use.

I then used the quick selection tool to select the area around the model, this is so I could turn the background white, this'll make it easier for the main cover line and other cover lines to stand out from the image.
I used refine edge to make it easier for the selection tool to go around the models hair, this made it so the hair didn't look a mess when changing the background to white.
The final front cover graphic.

Second Image on Front Cover:
 Original Image.
Elliptical Marquee Tool was used to select in the shape of a circle.
This is where I selected in the photo.
Then I added a stroke around the circle to make it stand out against the background.
The finished image.

Content Page Graphics:

This is the original image for the content page.
The front/ bottom of the image was blurry, so to get rid of this I had crop it, I tried to get the part that was most in focus.
I then edited the brightness/contrast, I did this not just to obscure the loss of focus, but to make the image more bolder too.
The final edited graphic for the content page.

Double Page Spread Graphics:

This was the original image

This is the first draft of the photo, I tried to get rid of objects in the background that don't relate to the magazine, especially the article, the game wallpapers in the background fit into what kind of article this is so I kept it in, I also cropped it a small amount so that the studio curtain was not in the shot, as this was used as a part of the photo shoot. I'm going to edit the image to get rid of spots and blemishes.

The final photo:
First, I got rid of the spots with the spot healing tool, and then I altered the contrast and brightness.
